Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit and charitable work in this area, we formed  Imo Progressive Union to offer succor  and provide sensible solutions to our community.   

Imo Progressive Union Glasgow serve as a uniting body of all the good people of Imo State that resides in Greater Glasgow & environs in Scotland. We work with all other associations and organisations of Imo people in the United Kingdom, Nigeria and elsewhere. We provide a venue for sharing the Imo culture and tradition in our community. We organise capacity building programmes, events & festivals, symposium, workshops and conferences. Others include language & cultural (songs, dance, folklores, stories, music) trainings, social enterprise development, research and consultations.We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Imo Progressive Union is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with Charity number  SC049996  We focus  on making the maximum positive effort for our community; alleviate poverty; advance education, citizenship, arts, heritage,culture and science.  We also offer  relief to those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability,financial hardship or other

disadvantage.  Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect positive change. Using data driven models, we strive to provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference and impact on our community.
